About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic leader to join our team as Head of Management Information Services at Walsall College. As a key member of the Senior Management Team, you will be responsible for the data, information, and funding integrity of the organization through the management of appropriate information systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain the accuracy and integrity of data and information systems.
  • Develop and implement strategies for data analysis, reporting, and compliance.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on funding decisions and support the development of the college's strategy for growth.
  • Lead and manage a team of professionals to ensure the effective delivery of information services.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in managing information services, with a strong technical background in data management, analysis, and reporting.
  • Proven ability to work in a complex and changing environment with significant transactional activity.
  • Strong analytical and planning skills, with the ability to interpret, evaluate, and communicate complex information accurately and effectively.
  • Experience of working in a regulated environment and a good understanding of the challenges facing the Further Education sector.
