About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Adult Safeguarding Research Officer to join our dynamic team at We Manage Jobs (WMJobs). As a key member of our Adult Safeguarding Hub, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable adults in our community.

Main Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary point of contact for safeguarding referrals, receiving and processing information from various sources.
  • Accurately record and maintain detailed records of safeguarding concerns, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with team members, including social workers and professionals, to develop and implement effective responses to safeguarding concerns.
  • Communicate effectively with reporting individuals and agencies, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection regulations, ensuring the security of sensitive information.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date with safeguarding best practices and procedures.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of adult social care and safeguarding principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in information technology and ability to learn new systems.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
