About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our Finance and Operations team at the Almeida Theatre. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operation and administration of the company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to all departments, ensuring sound operational and financial resources underpinning the safe and effective day-to-day life of the organisation.
  • Develop good communication between all departments, drawing together key operational issues to ensure effective day-to-day running across both sites.
  • Manage staff, ensuring appraisals and training considerations are routine, and draft contracts and policies as needed.
  • Manage budgets, maintenance, and operations of buildings, and have a working knowledge of GDPR.
Requirements
  • Minimum of five years' experience in a producing theatre, preferably in company/stage management, FOH/Theatre management, or general management.
  • IT literacy, with experience of using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Attention to detail, fundamental administrative skills, and the ability to prioritise a busy workload.
  • Experience of managing staff, budgets, and maintenance, and a working knowledge of GDPR.
