Purchasing Administrator Role

About the Role

Gleeson Recruitment Group is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchasing Administrator to join their team. As a Purchasing Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting the procurement team in sourcing and purchasing materials, goods, and services to meet the company's operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting the procurement team in identifying and selecting suppliers
  • Raising purchase orders and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services
  • Maintaining accurate records of purchases, prices, and inventory levels
  • Resolving any issues related to purchase orders and deliveries
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of procurement policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the manufacturing industry
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
