Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Administrative Support Officer to join our team in the Acute Services Division Medical Directorate Admin Team.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to provide a comprehensive secretarial and administrative service to our Service Managers. The successful candidate will have significant experience in a secretarial and administrative post, providing a dedicated service to an individual or team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and secretarial support to Service Managers
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and databases
  • Develop and implement administrative procedures to improve efficiency
  • Provide excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Work effectively as part of a team and independently

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of Microsoft packages, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Knowledge of NHS procedures and practices or experience in a public sector environment would be an advantage.
