Business Development Manager - Product Sales Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced Business Development Manager to join our team in the West Midlands. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for establishing strong relationships with existing and new customers, assessing their needs, and proposing suitable products and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share and profitability
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, building positive relationships with customers and prospects
  • Collaborate with the Managing Director to develop pricing strategies and sales plans
  • Provide technical support and advice to customers, ensuring they receive the best possible solutions to their needs
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in product-led business development, preferably in industries such as master-batch, engineering thermoplastics, polymer compounds, additives, chemicals, paints, coatings, life sciences, or industrial sales
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to work in an international environment
  • Strong project management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to work in a regulated environment
  • Ability to travel internationally, including expos, and possess a full, clean driving license
