About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative in our Contact Centre. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service and support to our customers over the phone.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide fantastic service and support to our customers, responding to their queries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Represent the MetroBank brand and its culture, embodying our values of customer-centricity, integrity, and innovation.
  • Advise customers on various queries, including balance enquiries, payments, internet banking, card management, and mobile app usage.
  • Update all systems, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail in recording conversations and maintaining customer records.
  • Follow established processes to ensure customer safety and security.
  • Live and breathe our values, demonstrating a strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Ability to build strong customer relationships in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain meticulous attention to detail, even under pressure.
  • Profound understanding of the risks associated with the role and their implications for both yourself and MetroBank's customers.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Capability to deliver outstanding customer experiences within a fast-paced environment.
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in handling customer service queries and operating in an environment with controlled processes in place.
Working Arrangements and Training

This is a part-time role, requiring flexibility to work Monday to Friday from 9am-2pm, 9:30am-2:30pm, or 10am-3pm, as well as flexibility over weekends. We will provide comprehensive training, including live team sessions, self-study, and on-the-job training, to ensure your success in this role.
