We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our innovative maternity leadership team at Barts Health NHS Trust as a Digital Midwife. This is a unique opportunity to lead our service at Newham University Hospital and support the digital agenda within the Better Births, Ockenden, the Long Term Plan, and the 3-year delivery Plan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the embedding of the midwifery millennium CRS system within the Trust
  • Support the analysis of current trends and benchmarking process flows and cultural norms for Nursing and Midwifery care across the sites
  • Collaborate with the existing post holders at The Royal London Hospital and Whipps Cross University Hospital to support the delivery of data quality and data validation
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve data quality and data validation
  • Provide formal teaching and development to staff and colleagues
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of learning activities and identify areas for improvement
Requirements
  • Registered Midwife with current NMC registration
  • Educated to degree level
  • Teaching qualification or equivalent/Mentorship Qualification
  • Knowledge and experience of working with data bases, data analysis, and coding
  • Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Ability to store data/information safely and correctly
  • Report Writing Skills
  • Presentation Skills
  • IT Literate (MS WP/Excel & PowerPoint)
