Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the restaurant in the absence of the General Manager, treating it as your own.
  • Lead the Assistant Manager team, ensuring they have the necessary tools to meet our standards.
  • Exhibit natural leadership qualities with the ambition to manage your own restaurant.
  • Utilize strong business acumen and numerical skills.
  • Demonstrate a passion for enhancing the lives of others.
  • Think creatively and innovatively.
  • Recognize your potential and assist your team in realizing theirs.
  • Foster a fun and authentic work environment.
  • Possess at least two years of experience in a branded restaurant as a Deputy Manager or Assistant Manager.
  • Inspire your team to deliver exceptional guest service.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, promoting awareness of Slim Chickens.
  • Leverage local marketing opportunities to enhance sales and brand presence.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  • Proactively develop and train your team to excel in their roles.

Daily Duties

  • Manage all daily restaurant operations to meet company standards in both Front of House and Back of House.
  • Ensure staff are well-informed of their responsibilities and provide ongoing supervision and motivation.
  • Participate in management and staff meetings, ensuring effective communication and action points are addressed.
  • Build and maintain a cohesive team focused on achieving business objectives.
  • Uphold high standards of restaurant quality, service, hygiene, and health and safety.
  • Recruit and select employees to meet staffing needs using cost-effective methods.
  • Support the delivery of key training and identify areas for team development.
  • Maintain a professional attitude and appearance at all times.
  • Respond promptly and efficiently to customer requests and feedback.
  • Assist in Back of House operations during peak times.
  • Comply with all legislative and company food hygiene and health & safety requirements.
  • Engage with Franchisee Head Office regularly.
  • Communicate effectively with the General Manager to keep them informed of business developments.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated leadership skills and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Previous management experience in the catering and hospitality sector.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to coach and develop your team.
