Job Summary:

The Recruitment Co. is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Sales Administrator to join our team. As a Sales Administrator, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing sales orders, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a warm and friendly first point of contact to all external contacts, representing the company in a professional manner.
  • Process sales orders accurately and efficiently, including sending order confirmations with accurate shipment dates.
  • Process credit card payments via virtual terminal and maintain accurate records.
  • Record all customer contact and relevant details within the company contact database (Microsoft Dynamics 365).
  • Release orders for shipment to the warehouse accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Communicate delivery date changes and updates to customers as required.
  • Troubleshoot customer issues, maintaining control and ensuring full communication to final resolution.
  • Generate quotations for customer requirements and follow up as necessary, recording feedback and liaising with managers to ensure competitiveness in the market.
  • Develop technical product information and applications.
  • Deliver and restock consignment cupboards within customer premises as required.
  • SOURCE customer requested items from our existing vendor base and beyond as necessary.
  • Place purchase orders with vendors for special order and drop ship requirements.
  • Process paperwork for system-generated inventory purchase orders.
  • Record all vendor contact and relevant details within the company ERP system (Microsoft Navision).
  • Develop technical product information and applications.
  • Be fully conversant with works order system and office procedures.
  • Assist other team members with transactions when required in other departments.
  • Contribute to the development of the business in general.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a customer service environment is essential.
  • Reliable, good organizational skills, enthusiastic, and conscientious.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn and train on the technical aspects of our clients' products.
