Administrative Transport Manager

Job Title: Transport Administrator
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transport Administrator to join our team at Stobart. As a key member of our transport operations, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our transport team, ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispatching: Efficiently and accurately dispatching drivers with all relevant paperwork, ensuring timely and safe transportation of goods.
- Customer and KPIs: Completing customer and Stobart KPIs where required, maintaining accurate records and reports.
- Trailer Management: Ensuring the correct trailer numbers are inputted into the internal tracking system, monitoring the service board to ensure the correct week number is on the correct trailer for depot trailers.
- Communication: Liaising with drivers on the gate communication system to make them aware of site procedures before entering site, when required.
- Compliance: Completing all daily tasks for compliance purposes, ensuring manning levels are updated and correct.
- Reporting: Internal reporting duties, including downloading vehicle and driver digital tachographs as per requirement.
- Transport System Management: Managing transport systems, ensuring efficient and effective logistics operations.
Requirements:
- Experience: Ideally, you will have had experience in a similar role and a sound knowledge of transport and logistics.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and time management techniques to balance priorities effectively.
- Flexibility: A strong requirement to be flexible, articulate, and able to cope when placed under pressure due to the changing environment.
