Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transport Administrator to join our team at Stobart. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our transport operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dispatch and Documentation: Efficiently and accurately dispatch drivers with all relevant paperwork, ensuring timely and safe transportation of goods.
  • Customer and KPI Management: Complete customer and Stobart KPIs as required, maintaining accurate records and reports.
  • Trailer Management: Input trailer details into the internal tracking system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Service Board Monitoring: Monitor the service board to ensure the correct week number is on the correct trailer for depot trailers.
  • Driver Communication: Liaise with drivers on the gate communication system to inform them of site procedures before entering the site, as required.
  • Daily Tasks and Compliance: Complete all daily tasks for compliance purposes, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Manning Levels and Reporting: Update and maintain accurate manning levels and complete internal reporting duties as required.
  • Transport System Management: Download vehicle and driver digital tachographs as per requirement, ensuring accurate and compliant records.
Requirements
  • Experience and Knowledge: Ideally, you will have experience in a similar role and a sound knowledge of transport and logistics.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and time management techniques to balance priorities effectively are essential.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: A strong requirement to be flexible, articulate, and able to cope when placed under pressure due to the changing environment.
