Actemium Mechanical is a leader in the design and fabrication of process-oriented projects. We are currently seeking a Business Unit Administrator to enhance our dynamic Mechanical Engineering team. This position is crucial for managing the daily administrative operations within the Business Unit, providing support to the General Manager and the team, while fostering strong collaborative relationships with operational personnel. Success in this role requires exceptional communication and organizational skills in a fast-paced setting. The position reports directly to the Finance Business Partner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and streamline the administrative operations within the Business Unit.
  • Ensure adherence to internal control standards and reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Business Unit Finance Team.

Core Duties:

  • Manage administrative tasks and office responsibilities.
  • Maintain comprehensive Health & Safety documentation.
  • Assist the Finance Team with various administrative functions.
  • Ensure precise data entry and transaction recording.
  • Support year-end audit processes.
  • Administer customer/vendor accounts and invoice processing.
  • Handle HR documentation and record-keeping.
  • Organize company records and filing systems.
  • Oversee office supplies and procurement.
  • Provide assistance in managing debtors and asset register control.

Qualifications:

  • Proven administrative experience.
  • Outstanding communication abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with proficient IT skills.
  • Capacity to work autonomously as well as collaboratively.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with SAP systems.
  • Experience in a project-driven environment.
