About the Role:

The University of Cambridge is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Part-Time Receptionist to join its team in the Estates Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service to staff and visitors, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate bookings for meeting rooms, Pool Bikes, and visitor parking
  • Replenish stationery and beverage supplies
  • Open and distribute post
  • Sign in/out visitors
  • Send out communications across the building
  • Assist in the smooth running of the reception desk

About You:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Previous reception experience or a customer-facing role
  • Competence in standard software packages (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize your workload and multitask
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and numeracy skills
  • Flexibility to cover annual leave when required
