Senior Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

Role Overview
The Senior FP&A Analyst will play a key role in supporting the North Europe Finance team in achieving short, medium, and long-term strategic and financial goals. As a key member of the Finance Team, you will drive targets towards growth, expense optimization, financial/operational/sales analysis, and key business partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze month-end performance to budget/forecast and provide insightful commentary.
- Prepare and update periodic forecasts, annual budgets, and long-term plans to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Assist with the preparation of business performance reviews for senior management, highlighting key trends and areas for improvement.
- Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators, identify opportunities for financial improvement, and provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management.
- Collaborate with the team to analyze and update financial models for specific projects, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Work cross-functionally to drive process improvements and automation, enhancing the efficiency of financial reporting and analysis.
- Support the development and improvement of new and existing management reports and input templates, ensuring data visibility and insights.
- Utilize strong analytical thought processes and problem-solving skills to drive business decisions.
- Perform ad-hoc analysis in support of management decision-making, providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
- Act as a user expert of TM1 and MS Dynamics, efficiently managing reports from these systems and supporting source data for financial models.
- Manipulate large amounts of data from different sources, effectively communicating results and insights to stakeholders.
- Deliver high-quality work products within deadlines, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Requirements
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically in MS Excel (advanced-level preferred) and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of Power BI is a plus.
- Ability to learn new technology quickly and adapt to changing business needs.
- Ability to work with large amounts of data, translating results into meaningful metrics and insights.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, delivering results under deadlines and handling multiple projects with minimal supervision.
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Effective written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate with department heads and management.
- Additional experience with financial/accounting systems is beneficial but not required.
- Prior knowledge with TM1 is beneficial but not required.
- 3-5 years of prior FP&A experience and a strong willingness to learn.
