Jane Gorse Recruitment Limited is seeking a talented and motivated individual to join a prominent organization in the travel sector as a Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist.

This role involves collaborating with essential stakeholders within a dynamic, private equity-backed firm. The position is structured as a fixed-term contract with potential for extension or permanent placement.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who are either pursuing ACCA or CIMA qualifications or are fully qualified, to provide insightful forecasts and budgets, along with strategic support and evaluation for the business plan.


Key Responsibilities of the Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist:

  • Manage the consolidation of sales, margin, and capital expenditure data for actuals, forecasts, and strategic financial planning.
  • Develop financial models to enhance the FP&A capabilities of our client, ensuring compliance with rigorous private equity standards and creating comprehensive debt models.

Ensure the maintenance of consolidated financial data, implementing robust controls to uphold the integrity and accuracy of the information.



  • Identify failures in data sources, analyze root causes, and collaborate with stakeholders to implement corrective actions.
  • Conduct proactive analysis of financial data to support FP&A reporting.
  • Provide ad hoc assistance to the team as needed with various FP&A tasks.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with key internal stakeholders to influence processes effectively.
  • Actively seek opportunities for process enhancements across financial data collection and consolidation, including critically reviewing and facilitating changes in existing processes, models, and deliverables.

Essential Skills:

  • Part Qualified or Fully Qualified Accountant.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with advanced Excel proficiency and experience in managing and interpreting large, complex datasets.

Financial modeling expertise is crucial, ideally within a private equity-backed environment or digital marketing sector. The anticipated salary for the successful Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist will range from £40,000 to £65,000, with the expectation of working one to two days a week in a central office location, easily accessible by public transport.
