We are seeking a highly motivated and commercially-minded individual to lead our social media team and drive its growth.
About the Role
As Director of Social Media, you will be responsible for:
- Leading and mentoring the social media team to achieve business objectives.
- Building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and identify opportunities for growth.
- Developing and implementing social media strategies that align with the company's overall business goals.
- Collaborating with the Head of Strategy to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
- Leading the hiring and resource allocation process for the social media team.
- Developing and presenting pitches for new business opportunities.
- Working closely with the Director of Client and Business Integration to ensure seamless client and business integration.
About You
- Approximately 7-10 years of experience in social media, specifically within an agency.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
- A hands-on approach to challenges and a willingness to lead by example.
- Confidence in presenting and communicating with stakeholders.
- Ability to think creatively and stay current on industry trends.
- Leadership skills and ability to collaborate effectively with the team.
