Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our department, you will provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to our medical and nursing team.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the medical and nursing team, including taking down and distributing minutes, typing clinical letters, and performing other administrative tasks as required.
  • Support the maintenance of our in-house sexual health appointment and electronic patient record system, Lilie.
  • Respond efficiently and effectively to telephone and email enquiries from patients and other healthcare professionals.
  • Work independently and liaise with others to prioritize and manage your workload, responding to the needs of the department and reporting framework for Public Health.
  • Provide cover and assistance to reception colleagues as required during periods of leave, absence, or increased work demands.

Person Specification

We are looking for someone with the following skills and experience:

  • GCSE level in Maths and English
  • Experience in Administration
  • Good computer and keyboard skills
  • Holds a full driver's license and access to own transport
  • A non-judgmental attitude and awareness of confidentiality

We also welcome applicants with knowledge of confidentiality and safeguarding, use of Lilie and Lorenzo IT software, ability to work autonomously, knowledge of Sexual Health, and evidence of willingness to further development and training.
