Job Title: SEN Tutor, Nottinghamshire

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated SEN Tutor to join our team at Targeted Provision Ltd in Nottinghamshire. As a SEN Tutor, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality educational support to young people with Special Education Needs (SEN) and Disabilities (SEND).

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified SEN Tutor to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable young people. You will be responsible for providing one-to-one tuition to students with a range of learning needs, including those with SEN, SEMH, MLD, and SLD.

As a SEN Tutor, you will work closely with our team of SEN Support Specialists to ensure that every student receives the support they need to succeed. You will be expected to plan and deliver engaging and holistic sessions that meet the individual needs of each student.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-to-one tuition to students with SEN, SEMH, MLD, and SLD
  • Plan and deliver engaging and holistic sessions that meet the individual needs of each student
  • Work closely with our team of SEN Support Specialists to ensure that every student receives the support they need to succeed
  • Complete lesson reports and provide feedback on student progress
Requirements:
  • Professional Teaching Qualifications (Qualified Teacher Status / QTS / QTLS)
  • Minimum 2 years teaching experience
  • Experience working with young people with SEN, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and / or other Additional Educational Needs
  • Experience, knowledge and understanding of safeguarding processes
  • Enhanced DBS (we can help obtain this at cost if needed)
  • Two professional references
