We are seeking a dedicated SEN Tutor to join our team at Targeted Provision Ltd. As a SEN Tutor, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality education and support to young people with Special Education Needs (SEND) in Nottinghamshire.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable learners. As a SEN Tutor, you will work one-to-one with children and young people, providing tailored support and guidance to help them overcome their educational and social-emotional challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging and holistic sessions that meet the needs of each young person
  • Provide regular feedback and progress reports to parents and carers
  • Collaborate with our SEN Support Team to ensure seamless support for each young person
Requirements
  • Professional Teaching Qualifications (Qualified Teacher Status / QTS / QTLS)
  • Minimum 2 years teaching experience
  • Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and other Additional Educational Needs
  • Enhanced DBS (we can help obtain this at cost if needed)
  • Two professional references
