Transforming Education for Vulnerable Young People

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Tutor to join our team at Targeted Provision Ltd, working with young people with Special Education Needs (SEND) in Nottinghamshire. As a SEN Tutor, you will provide Maths, English, or Science tuition to support the educational and social-emotional journey of these young individuals.

About the Role

This is a part-time position, offering flexible hours to suit your schedule. You will work with a variety of young people, each with their unique needs and challenges. Your role will involve providing holistic and engaging sessions, meeting the individual needs of each young person, and advancing their educational and social-emotional journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with SEND
  • Provide individualized support to meet the needs of each young person
  • Complete lesson reports and provide feedback on progress
Requirements
  • Professional Teaching Qualifications (Qualified Teacher Status / QTS / QTLS)
  • Minimum 2 years teaching experience
  • Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and / or other Additional Educational Needs
  • Experience, knowledge and understanding of safeguarding processes
  • Enhanced DBS (we can help obtain this at cost if needed)
  • Two professional references
