We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Service Designer to join our team at NHS Blood and Transplant. As a Senior Service Designer, you will play a critical role in shaping the user experience of our services, ensuring that they are intuitive, efficient, and meet the needs of our users.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement service design strategies that align with our organisational goals and user needs.
- Lead the creation and iteration of design artefacts, including prototypes and service maps, to inform service design decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that services are designed with user needs at the forefront.
- Champion the use of human-centred design tools and techniques throughout the organisation.
- Design and facilitate co-design workshops with stakeholders, including end-users, to gather feedback and insights.
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Service Designer who is passionate about creating user-centred services. You will have a strong understanding of service design principles and methodologies, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Key qualifications and experience include:
- Significant experience in service design, with a proven track record of delivering successful service design projects.
- Strong understanding of user-centred design principles and methodologies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to design and facilitate co-design workshops with stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Office products, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
