Key Responsibilities
- Database Configuration and Testing
The IT Operations Analyst/Developer will be responsible for configuring and testing new products and services, ensuring that our database systems are running efficiently and effectively.
Technical Fault Diagnosis and ResolutionThis role requires the ability to diagnose and resolve technical faults, working closely with internal IT Project Managers to ensure that issues are resolved quickly and efficiently.
Day-to-Day Support FunctionsThe IT Operations Analyst/Developer will provide day-to-day support to internal and external clients, ensuring that their technical queries are answered promptly and effectively.
Ad-Hoc Reporting and AnalysisThis role requires the ability to create ad-hoc reports and analyses using SQL scripts and stored procedures, providing valuable insights to the business.
Process ImprovementThe IT Operations Analyst/Developer will work closely with the team to identify areas for process improvement, developing custom software solutions to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our systems.
Requirements
- Education and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Computer Science or a related field from a reputable university, with good GCSEs and A-levels.
Technical SkillsExperience with programming languages such as Java, C++, C#, and Python is essential, with a strong desire to learn C# coding and TSQL.
Personal SkillsThe successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
