We are seeking two full-time Behaviour Mentors to join our team at Long-term Teachers Ltd. As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a crucial role in supporting pupils who have had difficulty thriving in mainstream secondary schools, special schools, or are returning from out of county placements.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide high levels of support to students, often including 1:1 support and bespoke timetables following thematic learning experiences.
- Design and deliver a wide range of personalised learning in and out of the classroom to engage students, build resilience, and provide a foundation for rapid academic progress.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement effective behaviour management strategies.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of individualised education plans (IEPs) and behaviour plans.
- Hold a current DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
- Be confident working within small groups and 1:1.
- Relevant experience working with children (or adults) with special educational needs.
- A passion for working with children and young people in SEN settings.
- Have a full UK driving licence and own vehicle.
- Minimum of level 2 qualification or equivalent.
- Guarantee Pay Scheme opportunities.

- Interview preparation, advice, and support.
