Behaviour Mentor

We are seeking two full-time Behaviour Mentors to join our team at Long-term Teachers Ltd. As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a crucial role in supporting pupils who have difficulty thriving in mainstream secondary schools, special schools, or are returning from out-of-county placements.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide high levels of support to students, often including 1:1 support and bespoke timetables following thematic learning experiences.
- Design and deliver a wide range of personalised learning in and out of the classroom to engage students, build resilience, and provide a foundation for rapid academic progress.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement effective learning plans.
- Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- A current DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
- Confidence working within small groups and 1:1.
- Relevant experience working with children (or adults) with special educational needs.
- A passion for working with children and young people in SEN settings.
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- A minimum of Level 2 qualification or equivalent.
- A competitive daily rate of £90-£95.
