Join the dynamic team at Daish's Holidays as our new Culinary Operations Leader.

We offer a competitive annual salary of £34,164, based on a 45-hour work week, with the potential for incremental and performance-based pay reviews, along with a quarterly bonus contingent on meeting targets. Enjoy continuous employment throughout the year, as we remain open during winter months. Additionally, you will receive a £50 bonus upon completing basic training, and if you refer a friend, you can earn £100.

Your working hours will include evenings, weekends, and bank holidays, but our kitchen team will finish no later than 8:30 PM. Breakfast shifts typically start at 7 AM and conclude around 10:30 AM.

As a Culinary Operations Leader, your role will differ from traditional hospitality kitchens. Our guests dine at the same time, twice daily, selecting from a set menu, which means no cooking to order. Batch cooking and organized delivery are essential. Breakfast is served at 8:30 AM, and dinner is delivered at 6:30 PM, with the goal of serving the entire restaurant within 45 minutes. Preparation is key to success, and we support you with a dedicated Group Operations Kitchen Manager, a menu guide, and reliable suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop your kitchen team while managing the food preparation process and related activities.
  • Operate within seasonal budget constraints to ensure effective cost control per guest.
  • Oversee stock replenishment and conduct monthly stock checks for accurate cost calculations.
  • Maintain all necessary legislative records, including the SFBB log and labeling systems, to facilitate inspections.
  • Achieve and maintain a minimum score of 4 in external health inspections.
  • Possess a current Level 3 Hygiene Certificate; if not, we will provide the necessary training.
  • Manage a wide range of tasks and responsibilities across kitchen operations.
