Position Overview

As a Culinary Support Assistant, your role will encompass a variety of responsibilities aimed at ensuring a smooth dining experience for all.

  • Assist in the preparation and serving of meals, including breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner, adhering to established menus and recipes.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including the arrangement of dishes and utensils.
  • Follow proper food handling and storage protocols to guarantee food safety and prevent contamination.
  • Monitor inventory levels of food and supplies, alerting management to any shortages or discrepancies.
  • Deliver friendly and efficient service to students and staff during meal times, addressing any concerns or special dietary requirements.
  • Engage in training sessions and meetings related to food service procedures, safety standards, and customer service excellence.

Role: Culinary Support Assistant

Salary: £11.44 per hour plus overtime pay

Shift Patterns Available:

Monday & Saturday 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM - 16 hours during term time only.
