Business Development Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Sysco GB. As a key member of our National Account team, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, driving sales growth, and building long-term relationships with our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the hospitality and catering industry
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales and margin targets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality tender submissions and launch new business wins
- Contribute to the development of business goals, objectives, and strategic initiatives
Requirements
- Proven experience in a new business development or national account role, with a successful track record in winning in multiple sectors and tender management
- Excellent customer relationship and rapport-building skills
- Good commercial acumen and knowledge of the key profit levers
- Good knowledge of the Sysco GB business and the hospitality and catering marketplace
- Proficient with all aspects of technology when building presentations and evaluating tenders using PowerPoint and Excel
