Position Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Director of Statistical Analysis to become a vital part of our Specialty and Primary Care Statistics team at GlaxoSmithKline.

Role Summary:
As a key player in our organization, you will leverage your statistical expertise to enhance the research and development of innovative medicines and vaccines across various therapeutic areas, including Oncology and Respiratory diseases. Your contributions will be instrumental in transforming our approach to clinical trials and observational studies, ensuring that we meet the needs of patients globally.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the statistical strategy for multiple projects, ensuring alignment with overarching product goals.
  • Utilize advanced statistical methodologies to inform clinical trial design and data analysis.
  • Engage with external experts and regulatory bodies to advocate for robust statistical practices.
  • Oversee the integrity of data dissemination related to supported programs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the success of clinical development initiatives.
  • Provide training and mentorship in statistical principles across the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in statistical governance.
Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
  • A Master's degree in Statistics/Biostatistics or a related field, with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proven track record in leading complex statistical projects and providing strategic input on study design.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present and defend statistical findings to diverse audiences.
  • Experience with innovative statistical techniques, including Bayesian methods and machine learning.
