Job Summary

The Diocese of London is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our efforts in breaking down barriers and promoting true race equality within our structures, policies, and processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to address systemic inequalities and promote diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Collaborate with the Lead Bishop on Racial Justice and other stakeholders to deliver and implement strategic priorities.
  • Work closely with senior leaders and teams to ensure that our policies and practices are fair, equitable, and inclusive.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on issues related to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders to advance our diversity and inclusion goals.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in leading diversity and inclusion initiatives in a similar context.
  • Strong understanding of systemic inequalities and their impact on marginalized communities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
