About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our team at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust. As a key member of our emergency medicine team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our clinical services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and manage patients in the emergency department, making decisions on diagnosis and treatment
  • Develop and implement complex care plans, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
  • Provide education and training to junior staff and students, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning
  • Contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures, ensuring best practice and patient safety
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care
Requirements
  • Advanced Clinical Practitioner qualification or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a band 6 post or above in an acute environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
  • Strong clinical skills, with the ability to assess and manage complex patient needs
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the service
