About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Acute Oncology Consultant Practitioner to join our dynamic team at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust. As a key member of our Acute Oncology Service, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to patients with cancer and immunotherapy-related complications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work as an autonomous practitioner in clinics, acute oncology Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC), outpatient clinics, and inpatient reviews.
  • Develop and implement standardized education programs, defined pathways, and quality improvement projects to enhance patient outcomes and experiences.
  • Collaborate with Kent and Medway teams to ensure equitable and accessible 7-day Acute Oncology services.
  • Provide strategic leadership, innovations, and expert clinical input to support complex inpatient caseloads and patient care.

Person Specification

  • Master's degree level in advanced practice or equivalent
