Position Overview

In the role of Content Strategist for a globally recognized brand, you will serve as the brand steward across various international initiatives. Your primary responsibility will be to lead and craft content and channel strategies, ensuring that all materials resonate with the overarching brand vision. You will guide and uphold the strategic direction of each content piece, regardless of the medium, whether it be articles, opinion pieces, infographics, or videos, ensuring a consistent brand voice throughout.

Ensemble represents the creative and design division of FleishmanHillard London. Our multi-disciplinary team specializes in brand identity, corporate communications, reporting, and transformative campaigns. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct editorial planning to translate communication strategies into focused editorial content calendars, detailing the form, purpose, and requirements for content production.
  • Oversee the creation of content that effectively meets clients' business and reputational objectives.
  • Commission and manage content production from writers, videographers, and designers, both in-house and through partner agencies or freelancers. This includes planning and developing content briefs, sourcing resources, managing timelines, and ensuring quality through editing.
  • Develop and maintain content templates, tools, and workflows for client projects to standardize editorial production.
  • Establish a 'best in class' approach to content and ensure overall strategic quality assurance for all produced materials.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders and subject matter experts to ensure content adheres to brand guidelines. Develop tone of voice and style guidelines to maintain consistency and quality among content creators.
  • Write and edit content for print, web, and social media, ensuring all outputs align with the client's brand and objectives, ranging from scripts for short videos to comprehensive reports.
  • Engage with clients and colleagues to identify specific business challenges and opportunities, translating these into actionable content briefs.
  • Manage client relationships directly, presenting content deliverables and negotiating feedback effectively.
  • Provide recommendations for optimization based on performance and reach metrics.

Candidate Profile

  • Demonstrated experience in a Brand Editor or Content Strategy role, ideally at the Account Director or Senior Account Director level within an agency environment.
  • Proven ability to manage large, multi-stakeholder clients across various workstreams.
  • Experience in developing content for B2B corporate audiences is advantageous.
  • Proficient in social and digital content writing, creative brief development, and collaboration with design and production teams.
  • Familiarity with paid media strategies and campaigns, with an understanding of their execution.
  • Experience in data reporting and optimization, translating metrics into actionable insights.
