About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Head of Diversity and Inclusion Specialist. This is a unique opportunity to lead the development and implementation of a Trust-wide, whole systems approach to equality and diversity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive EDI strategy aligned with NHS Guidance and good practice.
  • Lead the development and delivery of EDI interventions in partnership with staff networks.
  • Provide input and EDI expertise to the senior leadership team.
  • Review and ensure EDI policies and procedures are fit for purpose.
Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with a post-graduate degree in a relevant discipline, or proven high performance academic ability. Essential knowledge includes in-depth understanding of equality, diversity, and human rights legislation and inclusion guidance. Substantial experience of operating in a senior leadership role is also required.
