About the Role

We are seeking two enthusiastic and passionate individuals to join our team as Business Development Advisors. This is an entry-level role that offers the right candidate the opportunity to start a long and prosperous career with our organization.

As a Business Development Advisor, you will be responsible for processing financial documents submitted by Volkswagen Group Dealers and Retailers, verifying details, and ensuring speedy pay-out to get customers in their cars.

You will be working closely with other business areas, including Customer Services, to maintain a high level of understanding of FCA regulations and ensure you are competent to fulfill your role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responding to dealer enquiries, mainly by phone.
  • Entering/handling customer and dealer data via internal systems, following processing procedures and response time guidelines.
  • Validating customer documentation with proposal details when received and authorising appropriate payment to the dealer.
  • Closing liaison with other business areas, including Customer Services.
  • Maintaining your level of understanding of the FCA regulations to ensure you are competent to fulfill your role.

About You

  • Full PC literacy is essential.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication capabilities.
  • Previous customer service centre, call centre, or finance company experience is desirable.
  • An understanding of the Data Protection Act and Consumer Credit Act is desirable.
  • Strong customer service focus is essential, and a customer-friendly manner at all times.
  • Able to demonstrate systematic thought processes.
  • Able to cope with pressure and meet deadlines, and to work a flexible working pattern, including evenings and weekends, plus some Bank Holidays.
