Position Overview

This role is a fixed-term opportunity designed to fulfill the requirements of our mental health services.

We are seeking TWO dedicated and passionate Psychological Support Assistants who possess outstanding interpersonal abilities and a background in working with individuals. Key Responsibilities

Under the guidance of experienced professionals, the successful candidates will assist in the advancement of psychological therapy initiatives aligned with the stepped care model. This includes supporting qualified mental health practitioners in providing services to individuals experiencing mild to moderate mental health challenges. The positions will be closely linked with licensed clinical psychologists who will offer supervision and clinical guidance.

Familiarity with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques and group facilitation is advantageous, and there will be opportunities to acquire new skills in these areas. Responsibilities will also encompass assisting with service evaluations, audits, and various projects. You will be expected to actively participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and other relevant gatherings.

Proficiency in Welsh is preferred for this position; applications from both Welsh and English speakers are warmly welcomed.
