Job Overview

Home Instead is seeking a compassionate and flexible Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and companionship to our clients, enabling them to live independently in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Offer companionship and social interaction to clients, engaging in activities that promote mental and emotional well-being
  • Assist with light housekeeping and domestic duties, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment
  • Transport clients to appointments, shopping, and social events, using your own vehicle
  • Work collaboratively with our team to develop and implement personalized care plans that meet the unique needs of each client

Requirements

  • Full UK driving license and own car
  • Reside in our franchise region covering Hatfield, WGC, Potters Bar, Borehamwood, and surrounding villages and areas
  • Right to work in the UK

Benefits

  • Part-time work with flexible start and end times and days worked
  • Competitive hourly rate, averaging over £14.00 with benefits
  • £0.30 per mile travel, £0.45 per mile when travelling with or for a client
  • £12.00 per hour paid during travel between clients (restrictions apply)
  • Continuous paid professional development and award-winning training
  • Minimum 1-hour visits, no short visits
  • Paid holiday and pension contributions
