Job Overview

Boeing is actively looking for a Labor Relations Advisor to join our team in Europe.

This position provides an exciting blend of strategic oversight and practical engagement, ideal for an individual who excels in a dynamic setting and values strong relationship management and facilitation capabilities.

The role can be located in select areas across France, Germany, Netherlands, Poland, Spain, Sweden, or the United Kingdom.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Labor Relations Advisor, your primary responsibilities will encompass:

  • Offering practical, sound advice to the organization on employee relations issues, including the interpretation and implementation of industrial agreements,
  • Advising on the resolution of disputes and workplace challenges,
  • Coordinating and aiding in the planning and management of collective bargaining negotiations,
  • Supporting management in interactions with employee representative groups,
  • Leading and assisting in business transformation and change initiatives,
  • Collaborating with internal legal teams for the drafting of employment and industrial documentation,
  • Driving and managing the organization’s consultative forums,
  • Developing and delivering training programs for first-line managers in partnership with the broader human resources team.

Preferred Qualifications:

To thrive in this role, candidates should possess the following skills and experience:

  • Preferred tertiary qualifications in law, human resource management, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in advising on organizational transformation and change initiatives,
  • Significant background in a similar Employee Relations capacity within a large, complex organization,
  • Strong understanding of relevant employment and industrial laws, along with experience in fostering positive employee relations,
  • Proven ability to interpret Industrial Instruments and Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs),
  • Extensive experience in engaging with unions and employee representatives,
  • Strategic thinking capabilities within the broader context of the organization,
  • Strong skills in stakeholder management.

Work Arrangement:

This position is hybrid, requiring the selected candidate to work onsite at one of the designated locations as determined by the hiring team.

Work Authorization:

This role is intended for local hires in France, Germany, Netherlands, Poland, Spain, Sweden, or the United Kingdom. Candidates must have current legal authorization to work in the respective country.
