Job Summary

The St Michael's Hospice (Hastings & Rother) is seeking a compassionate and organized individual to join their Clinical Administration team as a Clinical Administrator - Bereavement Support. This permanent role involves supporting bereaved clients, processing referrals, and providing administrative support to the bereavement team.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Responding to client enquiries and processing new referrals
  • Handling administrative tasks such as typing, scanning, photocopying, and data entry
  • Liaising with staff, managers, and clinicians across the Hospice
  • Coordinating with volunteers and assisting the bereavement team in delivering the community Bereavement Support Service
  • Covering other administration roles to provide support to Clinical Services

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • An empathetic approach to supporting clients during difficult times
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and accurate typing and data entry skills
  • Ability to prioritize and organize workload to meet deadlines
