Accounts Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our client's team in Skelmersdale. As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for processing sales and purchase ledger invoices, maintaining accurate records, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process sales and purchase ledger invoices on Sage 50 and EDI systems
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including sales and purchase ledgers
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to queries and resolving issues in a timely manner
  • Assist in other areas of the finance team as required
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in sales and/or purchase ledger processing
  • Basic Excel skills and knowledge of accounting systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an open-plan office
  • Good attention to detail and organizational skills
