Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Accounts Administrator to join our client on a part-time basis, working onsite with a commitment of 16-20 hours per week. Flexibility to accommodate additional hours during peak periods is appreciated.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Ledger Management
- Inputting sales invoices using Sage 50 and EDI systems
- Handling Recharge invoices efficiently
- Recording customer payments
- Conducting credit control primarily through Customer Portals
- Resolving queries as they arise
- Maintaining accurate Sales Ledger records
- Overseeing Invoice finance processes
Purchase Ledger Processing
- Managing product invoices through the Purchase Order System
- Processing other invoices that require manual approval
- Reconciling Supplier Statements
- Preparing payments and remittances for suppliers
- Maintaining the Purchase Ledger effectively
Additional Support
Providing assistance in various other areas as needed.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience in Sales and/or Purchase ledger is essential
- Familiarity with Sage 50 and EDI is advantageous but not mandatory
- Strong attention to detail is crucial, as the role involves multiple systems
- Ability to work independently and maintain focus in an open office environment
- Having access to a vehicle is preferred due to the location, with complimentary parking available
