Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Accounts Administrator to join our client on a part-time basis, working onsite with a commitment of 16-20 hours per week. Flexibility to accommodate additional hours during peak periods is appreciated.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Ledger Management

  • Inputting sales invoices using Sage 50 and EDI systems
  • Handling Recharge invoices efficiently
  • Recording customer payments
  • Conducting credit control primarily through Customer Portals
  • Resolving queries as they arise
  • Maintaining accurate Sales Ledger records
  • Overseeing Invoice finance processes

Purchase Ledger Processing

  • Managing product invoices through the Purchase Order System
  • Processing other invoices that require manual approval
  • Reconciling Supplier Statements
  • Preparing payments and remittances for suppliers
  • Maintaining the Purchase Ledger effectively

Additional Support

Providing assistance in various other areas as needed.

Candidate Requirements

  • Proven experience in Sales and/or Purchase ledger is essential
  • Familiarity with Sage 50 and EDI is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Strong attention to detail is crucial, as the role involves multiple systems
  • Ability to work independently and maintain focus in an open office environment
  • Having access to a vehicle is preferred due to the location, with complimentary parking available
