Job Title: Clinical/Counselling and Community Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical/Counselling and Community Psychologist to join our team at Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust.

Main Responsibilities
  • Delivering Specialist Psychological Assessment and Treatment: You will be responsible for delivering high-quality psychological assessment and treatment to service users who are experiencing first episode psychosis.
  • Supervision, Advice, and Consultation: You will provide supervision, advice, and consultation to colleagues on psychological care for service users and carers.
  • Research Trials: You will lead on research trials, collaborating with the team on projects involving Virtual Reality.

Person Specification
  • Doctoral Level Training in Clinical or Counselling Psychology: You must have doctoral level training in clinical or counselling psychology, including models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics, and neuro-psychology.
  • Training in Supervision: You must have training in supervision.
  • Experience of Working with Service Users: You must have experience of working with service users who experience psychosis.
  • Knowledge of Legislation and NICE Guidance: You must have knowledge of legislation and NICE guidance in relation to the client group and mental health.
