Senior Human Resources Consultant

About the Role
At Amazon, we embrace the philosophy that every day presents new opportunities. We are seeking a highly skilled, intelligent, and motivated individual to join our Human Resources division as a Senior Human Resources Consultant.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership within Operations, leveraging extensive HR knowledge and experience.
- Design and implement business strategies that prioritize talent management, organizational efficiency, workforce planning, and employee satisfaction.
- Establish standardized processes and policies, facilitating organizational change as a Change Management advocate.
- Serve as the HR Manager's representative at your designated Fulfillment Centre.
Engagement and Employee Relations
- Drive initiatives aimed at enhancing Associate engagement, serving as a Subject Matter Expert in Employee Relations, and analyzing Associate feedback to improve retention and reward systems.
- Oversee labor relations and manage complex cases involving both internal and external parties, ensuring compliance with evolving legislative requirements.
Talent Development
- Develop people-focused strategies to align with business needs, understanding the integration of talent within the overall business strategy.
- Collaborate with management to facilitate recruitment processes for middle and senior management roles, as well as onboarding, training, and development programs.
- Lead the talent review and succession planning processes in partnership with management.
Data-Driven Insights
- Utilize data analytics to enhance processes, boost employee engagement, and ensure policy alignment across the organization.
- Manage and execute complex HR projects and spearhead change initiatives, including the adoption of new tools and technologies to better support stakeholders.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in a Human Resources-related field or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience as an HR Business Partner in a dynamic distribution or manufacturing setting.
- Familiarity with current HR practices, trends, and tools.
- Proficient in MS Office applications and HR Information Systems.
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
- Ability to leverage analytical and experiential data for informed decision-making.
