About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Service Desk Operations Specialist to join our team at Evelyn Partners. As a key member of our IT support team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to our staff, ensuring that their IT needs are met promptly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Technical Support: Respond to and resolve technical issues and queries from staff via phone, email, and customer portal.
  • Log and Manage Incidents: Accurately log and manage incidents and requests in our ServiceNow system, ensuring that all necessary information is captured and that incidents are assigned the appropriate SLA.
  • Escalate Issues: Escalate complex technical issues to our support teams or DevOps teams as necessary, ensuring that issues are resolved promptly and efficiently.
  • Continuously Improve: Contribute to the continuous improvement of our IT support processes and procedures, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
  • Meet KPIs: Consistently meet our Service Desk Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as set by our Service Desk Team leader.
Requirements
  • Customer Service Background: A customer services background is highly desirable, with previous experience working on a Service Desk and using ServiceNow.
  • Technical Skills: Excellent technical skills, with a strong understanding of Microsoft products, including Office.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical staff.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and identify effective solutions.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meet the needs of the business.
