In the UK, we have successfully positioned ourselves as a key player in both the Juices and Wine sectors, supplying high-quality beverages to major retailers and the convenience market nationwide. To support our ongoing expansion, we are looking to appoint a National Account Manager within our commercial division.

Position Summary

Reporting directly to the UK Business Director, you will be engaged in a challenging and rewarding role across the Retail and Convenience sectors. As a National Account Manager, you will be crucial in driving sales and nurturing robust relationships with our key customers. Your responsibilities will include managing both branded and private label product lines within the juice and wine categories.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Management: Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with key stakeholders at major retail and convenience outlets, acting as the primary liaison for all account-related inquiries.
  • Sales Development: Propel sales growth by identifying new business opportunities, negotiating agreements, and executing effective promotional initiatives.
  • Product Innovation: Collaborate with internal teams to create innovative product ideas and packaging solutions that align with the evolving demands of our clientele.
  • Market Analysis and Planning: Keep abreast of market trends and competitor activities to inform sales forecasts and devise strategic plans for achieving sales objectives. Maintain a focus on delivering exceptional service levels, ensuring reports are current and communication with clients is seamless.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Partner closely with various teams, including marketing, operations, and finance, to ensure alignment on key business goals and execution excellence.
  • Regulatory Compliance and Reporting: Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations and company policies, while providing regular updates and reports on sales performance to senior management.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess several years of experience in the FMCG sector, specifically within either an Own Label or Branded FMCG (Food or Drink) organization, with National Account Management experience in one of the following areas:

  • Grocery/Retail Convenience

We are also open to considering more junior commercial candidates who are prepared to take on increased responsibility and accountability.
