Commercial Director

Chase & Holland Recruitment Ltd is partnering with a highly successful and growing engineering business to recruit a Commercial Director. This is a crucial role to build on outstanding relationships with long-standing clients, promote commercial activity, and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement commercial strategy to meet overall business objectives
- Proactively seek out new business opportunities and manage market analysis and research on competitors
- Lead on contracts with clients, ensuring commercial viability and acting as the main point of contact
- Manage revenue strategies to increase revenue streams for existing and new clients
- Forecast, budget, and cost manage commercial activities
- Design and develop effective measures to optimize revenue streams
- Build and maintain robust relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Lead and mentor the commercial team
- Identify and reduce commercial risks
- Proven experience as a commercial director or other relevant role
- Proven track record of managing large-scale contracts, ideally with framework experience
- Strong stakeholder management experience and relationship management experience
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- P&L management working closely with the Finance Director
- Experience leading a diverse team
- Commercial awareness partnered with a strategic and analytical mindset
