Junior Rowing Coach Assistant

We are seeking two enthusiastic rowing coaches to support the lead coaches in the organization and training of our junior rowing squads.

Position Title: Junior Rowing Squad Assistant Coach - 2 Positions Available
Reporting To: Head of Rowing
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: £37,050 - Pro-rated
Work Schedule: 15 hours/week or 11 hours/week
Role Overview:
The Leisure Team is dedicated to benefiting the local community through sports and leisure initiatives. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer experiences and inclusivity through accessible programs that reach those in need.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the lead coach in managing athletes within the competitive junior squad.Coach during community sessions that serve as a vital pathway to the competitive squad.Deliver high-quality training sessions in accordance with the GB Rowing Team's technical guidelines and development strategies.Support the organization and execution of training camps.Prepare crews and equipment for competitive events at both local and national levels.Assist the lead coach with crew selection processes.Commit to the safeguarding of children and young individuals.Perform any additional relevant duties as assigned by the Head of Rowing.General Expectations:
Collaborate with your line manager to identify personal support needs and engage in ongoing professional development.Adhere to Enable's codes of conduct, including policies on data protection, health and safety, and safeguarding.Promote equality, diversity, and inclusion for colleagues and clients alike.Foster a safe and welcoming environment where all individuals are treated with respect and their identities valued.Ensure data is securely managed in compliance with data protection laws and Enable's procedures.Maintain awareness of safeguarding principles as they pertain to children and vulnerable adults in your role.Undertake any other reasonable duties that contribute to the team's overall function.Assist with events or activities organized by Enable.This role presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to a company that positively impacts the community.
