We are excited to advertise a development post for a passionate and enthusiastic, HCPC registered, Clinical or Counselling Psychologist.
Our small, friendly Psychology team comprises of a Principal Clinical Psychologist, a highly specialist Clinical Psychologist, a CBT therapist, and 2 Assistant Psychologists.
We are committed to trauma-informed care, and we practice from a range of models such as psychodynamic, schema-informed therapy, CBT, and DBT.
We have very close links with our local Clinical Psychology Doctoral courses, and we routinely offer Adult and specialist placements to trainee Clinical Psychologists.
This vacancy provides excellent career development opportunities, and the successful candidate will be supported to access formal psychological therapy training, supported by NHSE on modalities such as SCM, CAT, CBT for Psychosis, to help us deliver the CMHT Transformation agenda and the NHS Long-term plan.
Main Duties of the JobThe successful candidate will be supported with extensive professional and clinical supervision frameworks and opportunities to develop their specialist clinical and professional skills through an extensive and well-resourced CPD structure.
For the qualified 8A candidate, supervision training is essential.
To provide a highly specialist psychology service to clients with complex psychological and mental health presentations. To provide specialist psychological assessment and interventions as well as providing consultation and advice on clients' psychological care to non-psychologist colleagues and other non-professional carers.
