About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a Band 8a Practitioner Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing specialist psychological assessments and interventions to clients with complex psychological and mental health presentations.

You will work closely with our multi-disciplinary team to provide consultation and advice on clients' psychological care, and contribute to the development of our clinical services. We are committed to delivering high-quality care and are passionate about developing a diverse and flexible workforce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct complex psychological assessments and interventions
  • Provide consultation and advice on clients' psychological care
  • Contribute to the development of our clinical services
  • Work closely with our multi-disciplinary team
  • Develop and maintain clinical expertise in specialist areas

Requirements

  • Post-graduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology, counselling or health psychology
  • HCPC Registered (Band 8a)
  • BABCP/UKCP or other relevant registration professional body (Band 8a)
  • Additional Psychotherapy qualification/training relevant to working with complex presentations
  • Supervision training (Band 8a)
