Position Overview

We are pleased to present a remarkable opportunity for a skilled Theatre Practitioner to join our dedicated Theatre Team at Spire Healthcare Ltd. Candidates should possess prior experience in the field of Anaesthetics.

Key Responsibilities

The ideal Practitioner or Nurse will be responsible for preparing the surgical theatre/anaesthetic area for operations, ensuring that all necessary instruments, equipment, and supplies are available for specific surgical procedures while minimizing waste. You will independently manage a theatre schedule and provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff (depending on experience) while executing anaesthetic responsibilities. This role offers the chance to enhance your expertise as the unit conducts a variety of surgical interventions.

Job Duties

Theatre Practitioner | Anaesthetics | Full Time | Permanent | Competitive Salary | We are looking for an experienced Theatre Practitioner to join our Theatre Team. Candidates must have prior experience in Anaesthetics. Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing the surgical theatre/anaesthetic area for operations.
  • Managing a theatre list independently.
  • Supervising and mentoring junior staff as needed.
  • Performing anaesthetic duties.
  • Developing skills through exposure to various surgical procedures.

Candidate Profile

We seek a qualified ODP/Nurse with an Anaesthetic Module, registered with NMC or HCPC without restrictions on your pin. Candidates should have at least one year of experience in Anaesthetics, with recovery experience being advantageous. A background in a surgical/Theatre environment is essential. The successful candidate will be highly motivated and accustomed to working in a challenging yet rewarding atmosphere.
